GI Appointment and Energy Level Update
I already do a little exercise, but not consistently. I enjoy biking and walking. However, in the area I live in, I don't necessarily feel safe going out for walks alone and I need to take my bike to a park to ride without having to worry about cars or traffic. I don't have the endurance to ride for very long, but walks seem to be a good start for building my endurance. I took a two-mile walk just a few days ago and felt a little sore afterwards, but not too bad. My problem is being consistent. I could also try yoga again, since I don't have to worry about going out alone for that. But, again, I have a hard time staying motivated to do exercise consistently. Which is a common problem for most people, I found.
So, for anyone out there reading this, what advice would you give for how to stay consistent in exercising? What gentle exercise would be a good start for me? That is something that I plan on trying to do for my health's sake.
How the Vitamins Have Been Working
After a couple of weeks of taking the new vitamins I mentioned in a previous post, I have definitely noticed a difference. I don't feel exhausted all the time anymore and have been feeling much more like myself. I did my deep clean today while listening to music and was dancing along with the vacuum cleaner and feeling full of energy. I have to say, it's wonderful to feel like my healthy self again! All I have to do now is exercise a little more consistently.
Who's that handsome fella in the picture? ;)
ReplyDeleteYoga is great but walking is always good and usually the easiest to do. I have to force myself to be active as well and I know it's hard. I've been parking further away at work just to help get extra steps in.. also I may wander down each aisle at the grocery store.just so I get more walking done. House work is good exercise too! And this way you can feel productive while getting some more movement in. :)
DeleteThe only thing that works for me with exercise is to set specific days to exercise. Then you have to make yourself go on that day. It doesn't have to be a specific time. I do find by keeping a routine helps me keeping going over a long period of time.
